The Samsung Vibrant for T-mobile USA (part of the Samsung Galaxy S phones) can easily be unlocked. After following the instructions at XDA-deveopers forums, I was able to get the unlock code and make an AT&T SIM card work on the Vibrant! The Vibrant is sold by T-mobile USA. I switched out the SIM cards. As you can see, the status bar shows AT&T as the provider. The speed test shows that the 3G frequency for AT&T also works on the Vibrant. It's much easier on a Mac.
